Outreach brings speed of reach: it gets to the decision-maker who matters, inside the ICP, in days not months. But the context you can deliver is limited, and the lead that doesn't convert on the first attempt is lost.
Content brings recurring presence in front of the ICP and builds recognition before there's any intent to buy. But it takes time to produce direct conversion.
Combined, each piece covers what the other can't.
Content raises outreach conversion, because the first thing the recipient of an email does is look up the person and the company on LinkedIn. If they find an active profile with posts relevant to their situation, the odds of a reply go up sharply.
In the other direction, outreach brings people to the profile who, if they don't convert when first contacted, can keep consuming content for weeks and convert later.
It's not about having more channels for the sake of it. It's about each channel making the next one more effective.
